
LAGUNA Police Provincial Office, in its unwavering commitment to maintain a fair and orderly election environment for BSKE 2023, apprehended 26 individuals for violation of the liquor ban on October 29.
Laguna Police enforces the liquor ban under COMELEC Resolution 10924 from October 29 to 30, 2023, which means that the sale, purchase, serving, and consumption of alcoholic beverages in public places are prohibited during this period.
In the enforcement of the liquor ban in the Province, police officers who were patrol the area in Pila, Victoria, Bay, Cavinti, and Calamba City apprehended these violators who were caught in the act of consuming alcoholic beverages during drinking sessions.
PCol Harold Depositar, said “This is one of our steps to ensure a fair and peaceful electoral process. Violators of the COMELEC resolution will face appropriate legal actions in accordance with the existing law.”

Please do not hesitate to report to us – your local police, any illegal activities in your locality, especially those related to elections.
