OPERATIVES of the Philippine National Police – Drug Enforcement Group and the General Trias police on Wednesday night arrested three women and seized some P6.8 million shabu in a buy-bust operation in Pasong Camachile 1, General Trias City, Cavite.
PNP-DEG Special Operations Unit 4A chief Col. Julian Olonan identified the arrested suspects as Norhanah Dirampatin alias “Ada,” 28; Nur-Laila Capatagan alias “Laila,” 20, a native of Basak Malut-lut, Marawi City, and Eman Bongcarawan alias “Eman,” 29, also a native of Basak Malut-lut, Marawi City, all residing at Blk. 10, L179, Trogon St., Westwood Phase 1, Lancaster, Pasong Camachile 1.
Police are hunting down Noralyn Macalangan alias “Madam Tisay” and alias “Naira Landua” who eluded arrest.
Olonan said they conducted the entrapment after several days of surveillance.
Seized at the suspects’ house were one kilogram of shabu worth P6.8 million, 10 bundles of boodle money worth P1 million, a Nokia cellphone,one brown shoulder bag containing Capatagan’s ID, a brown wallet containing IDs of Bongcarawan and a brown shoulder bag containing various IDs of Dirampatin.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied for filing in court against the suspects.
