A 23-YEAR-OLD daughter of an overseas Filipino worker reported missing by her relatives was found dead in a vacant lot in Sison, Pangasinan.
“Marie, ” not her real name, was suspected to have been raped before she was killed.
According to Pangasinan Police Provincial Office PIO Maj. Katelyne May Awingan, they are conducting an in-depth investigation into the killing of the victim.
“Marie” was found in a vacant lot a few kilometers away from her home. Her clothes were ripped, making her relatives believe that she was molested before she was killed.
“Sana balutin siya (suspek) ng konsensiya at sumuko na siya at aminin ang ginawang karumal-dumal sa anak ko,” the OFW mother who immediately booked a flight to the Philippines after knowing of her daughter’s death.
Authorities said they have already a person of interest in the case but refused to elaborate as investigation is still ongoing.
