Camp Gen Miguel C Malvar- BATANGAS PPO prepares for one of the annual holiday observances, the All Saints’ and All Souls’ day. The PNP Batangas forestall the increase in the number of people visiting the cemeteries, perhaps to avoid the rush of many visitors during UNDAS.
The Acting Provincial Director of Batangas PPO, Police Colonel Jacinto R Malinao,. Jr, ordered to intensify the security measures and police assistance during UNDAS. The Batangas PPO will deploy 2,426 police force to 143 cemeteries in the province to manage the long weekend and ensure safety of the public.
In addition, the Provincial Headquarters deployed 54 PNP personnel to the established Police Assistance Desk (PADs) in the cemeteries, commercial areas, parks and community centers as well as major tourist destinations bus terminals, and seaports due to the influx of goers and motorist visiting the cemeteries.
The PNP’s full alert status during UNDAS demonstrates its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of Batangueños during this important holiday. The PNP’s proactive approach, including increased deployment, public safety services, and coordination with other agencies, aims to have a LIGTAS UNDAS 2024.
