Zambales, Philippines — Zambales 1st District Representative Jay Khonghun has spoken out on social media, calling for respect from tourists following an incident involving a lady biker and content creator known as Yana Motovlog.
In a Facebook post that quickly gained attention, Khonghun expressed disappointment over the vlogger’s alleged rude behavior toward a local motorist. The lawmaker emphasized the importance of respecting the communities that visitors travel to, particularly in tourist destinations like Zambales.
“Sa mga mahal naming turista, dapat marunong tayong rumespeto sa lugar at mga mamamayan na pinupuntahan ninyo,” the post read. “Importante sa amin na maging maayos, masaya at ligtas ang pagdalaw ninyo. Pero hindi namin tatanggapin ang kayabangan at kabastusan ninyo.”
“To our dear tourists, we must learn to respect the places and the people you are visiting. It is important for us that your visit is peaceful, enjoyable, and safe. But we will not accept arrogance and rudeness.”
The statement comes after a video circulated online showing a confrontation between the vlogger and a fellow motorist in Zambales. Although full details of the incident have not been made public, many netizens criticized the biker for allegedly displaying arrogant behavior during the encounter.
Khonghun’s firm stance was met with support from locals and netizens who echoed his call for responsible tourism and mutual respect.
As of this writing, Yana Motovlog has yet to issue an official statement addressing the controversy.
Zambales Declares Vlogger Yanna Moto Persona Non Grata Following Public Outcry
Meanwhile, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Zambales has officially declared content creator and motorcycle vlogger “Yanna Moto Vlog” as persona non grata in the province, following numerous complaints regarding her recent actions and behavior toward a local motorist.
In Resolution No. 2025-14-69, the provincial board cited that Yanna Moto’s conduct was “detrimental to the peace, order, and welfare” of the province and its residents. The decision, which takes effect immediately, prohibits the vlogger from entering Zambales unless for legitimate reasons as determined by the provincial government.
“The Sangguniang Panlalawigan finds it necessary to take appropriate action to protect the interests of the province and its people,” the resolution stated.
Under the resolution:
Yanna Moto Vlog is declared persona non grata in the province.
She is barred from entering Zambales unless cleared for legitimate purposes.
Violations of the resolution may lead to penalties as provided by law.
The controversy stems from a now-viral video in which the vlogger was reportedly involved in a disrespectful altercation with a local resident while filming content. The incident drew backlash from netizens and public officials alike, prompting Zambales 1st District Representative Jay Khonghun to issue a statement calling for mutual respect between tourists and locals.
Angie Perez, Head of the Zambales Cooperative, certified the authenticity of the resolution, affirming it was duly passed by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan on May 1, 2025.
As of this writing, Yanna Moto Vlog has yet to release an official response regarding the provincial ban.
