MOTORCYCLE-RIDING armed men on Sunday night shot dead an incumbent barangay chairman in Bacoor City, Cavite.
Cavite Provincial Police Office Director Col. Arnold Abad identified the victim as Jaime Alamo, the village chief of Bgy. Panapaan 8 in Bacoor City.
Alamo was in his Toyota Wigo car when shot by the suspects in front of a convenience store near Rosewood village on Niog Road, Bgy. Niog 2 at 7:40 p.m. on Sunday.
The suspects fled towards Molino Boulevard.The victim was rushed to St. Dominic Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival by an attending physician.Police are investigating the killing.
