The Department of Health (DOH) – Ilocos Region led by Regional Director Paula Paz M. Sydiongco together with Deputy Speaker Conrado M. Estrella III and Medical Center Chief Dr. Emerson B. Patawaran formally opened the Conrado F. Estrella Regional Medical and Trauma Center (CFERTMC) Infirmary Hospital on April 7, 2022 located in Brgy. Carmay East, Rosales, Pangasinan.
The facility will serve residents of the eastern part of Pangasinan including nearby municipalities of Nueva Ecija and Tarlac.
“Let us make this infirmary a valuable place of healing, comfort and hope for patients. Importante na matugunan ang pangangailangan ng mga pasyenteng upang sila ay ating mabigyan ng dekalidad na serbisyo at agarang lunas upang mailigtas ang kanilang buhay”, Sydiongcostated.
“Ipagpatuloy po natin ang pagbibigay ng maayos at mabuting serbisyo para sa ating mga kababayan at patuloy din nating paghandaan ang anumang mga suliraning pangkalusugan na ating kakaharapin. Let usmake this infirmary one of the best health facilities in the province of Pangasinan,” she added.
The Conrado F. Estrella Regional Medical and Trauma Center (CFERTMC) was established by virtue of Republic Act No. 11558, an act establishing a general hospital in the municipality of Rosales, province of Pangasinan which shall be under the direct control and supervision of the Department of Health (DOH).
Hospital Chief Dr. Patawaran said that the infirmary received its first two patients on April 8, 2022. “Ang kauna-unahan po nating mga pasyente na na-admit ay sa pedia at sa female adult sa general ward. Sila ay mula sa Sta. Maria at sa Rosales, Pangasinan.”
“We are open 24/7 dahil ang pagbibigay ng serbisyo at pagpapacheck-up sa kalusugan ay hindi pwedeng ipagpaliban. Bukas po kami kahit Sabado at Linggo upang mabigyan agad ng tugon ang bawat pasyenteng nangangailangan ng agarang tulong,” he emphasized.
Among the health care services the infirmary will provide are free laboratory examinations including fasting blood sugar, cholesterol, uric acid, electrocardiogram (ECG) and ankle brachial index (ABI) for diabetic patients
Out-patient services are open 24/7 from 8:00AM to 4:00PM to provide free services for dental (tooth extraction, flouride application) and medical consultations for pediatric and medical/internal medicine.
The infirmary’s surgery clinic is also accepting circumcision, minor surgery and consultation. The cardiology clinic is open every Tuesday at 2:00pm to 5:00pm.Free vaccination for Covid-19 are also available for residents who want to avail of the vaccine for their 1st, 2nd and booster dose.
