TANAY, Rizal — For nearly three decades, the Army Station Hospital has stood not only as a center for medical care but also as a symbol of compassion, service, and hope for soldiers, their families, and nearby communities.

On Thursday, March 5, the hospital opened its doors wider as it hosted the Health Care Fair CY 2026 at Camp Capinpin, in celebration of the 28th Founding Anniversary of the Army Station Hospital under the 2nd Infantry (Jungle Fighter) Division.

The event was graced by Division Commander Major General Ramon Zagala and spearheaded by Army Station Hospital Commanding Officer Colonel Mailyn Panganiban, who emphasized the hospital’s enduring mission of providing quality and compassionate care.

Carrying the theme “ASH @ 28: More than a Hospital — A Health Partner, A Community for Compassionate Care, and A Circle of Hope for 28 Years,” the celebration reflected the institution’s journey from a military medical facility into a trusted health partner for both uniformed personnel and civilians.

Throughout the day, the hospital grounds transformed into a hub of health services, offering various medical consultations, wellness programs, and health assistance to active military personnel, their dependents, and residents from nearby communities. For many families, the fair served as an opportunity to receive much-needed medical attention and health guidance from dedicated health professionals.
More than the medical services provided, the activity highlighted the deeper role of the Army Station Hospital as a pillar of support within the military community. For soldiers deployed in demanding environments, the assurance that their families have access to quality health care provides peace of mind that strengthens morale and readiness.
Over the years, the hospital has continuously expanded its programs to promote preventive care, improve health awareness, and foster partnerships with local stakeholders. Its presence within Camp Capinpin has also strengthened the bond between the Armed Forces and surrounding communities in Tanay and nearby areas of Rizal.
As it marks its 28th year of service, the Army Station Hospital remains steadfast in its commitment to holistic health care—caring not only for the physical well-being of patients but also nurturing a culture of compassion, partnership, and hope.
Indeed, for many who walk through its doors, the Army Station Hospital is more than just a hospital—it is a community that heals, supports, and stands ready to serve.
