CAMP BGen Pantaleon Garcia, Imus City — Cavite Police arrested 123 individuals and recorded 3,636 Minimum Public Health Standards (MPHS) protocols violators in 24 hour Cavite anti-criminality operations.
In the campaign against illegal drugs, 61 drug personalities were arrested in 33 buy-bust operations and confiscated 116 pieces of small size heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu, two pieces ziplock transparent plastic sachet containing dried leaves suspected as marijuana, and other drug paraphernalia.
In the campaign against wanted persons, 14 persons were arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrests including the five (5) Most Wanted Person tagged as the following – Ranked No. 9 Regional Level (CALABARZON) for the crime of Statutory Rape, Ranked No. 8 Provincial Level for Possession of Illegal Drugs, Top 2 Municipal level for 2 counts of Serious Physical Injuries, Ranked No. 7 City Level for the crime of Rape, and Listed No.8 City Level for Violation of RA 7610.
In the campaign against illegal gambling, 30 persons were arrested while engaged in “Pool”, “Online Sabong”, playing illegal card games “Tong-its”, “Pusoy”, and playing illegal coin game “Cara y Cruz”.
Operatives confiscated one unit Cherry Mobile Tablet, set of playing cards, cue sticks, pool chips, and cash amounting to P 3,178.00.
In various cases, 18 suspects were arrested for Violation of RA 11332, Violation of Curfew Hours and Violation of Art 151 of RPC, Theft Incident, and Reckless Imprudence Resulting to Physical Injury and Damage to Property. A total of 3,636 MPHS violators were recorded for not wearing face mask, improper wearing face mask, violation the curfew hours and violation of social distancing.
In this time of pandemic, Cavite PNP intensifies its response to health crisis by enforcing IATF MPHS and still sustaining the anti-criminality operations to maintain peace and order in the entire province.
