
CONTINUING its journey on improving its social media presence, the House of Representatives (HRep), through the Legislative Operations Department (LOD), on Monday hosted a forum on how to create a good and interesting social media content.
Forum Resource Speaker Mr. Angelito “Papa Pau” Reyes Jr., suggested that vloggers allocate funds to buy high-quality hard drives and professional editing software. “Yan minsan ang challenges as being a content creator. May gastos, may pagod at talagang kakainin ang oras mo.” he said. He added that a content creator must possess knowledge and demonstrate accountability, especially on the legal and ethical aspects of their selected content. Mr. Reyes owns the “Papapau – Jaenikay Daily” channel on Youtube.
Content Strategist Mr. Ronnie Bantillo II, also known as “Kuya Champ” on Facebook, shared that it is important that a content creator has clear understanding of the objective behind developing a specific content. He recommended that aspiring and existing vloggers familiarize themselves with their target audience, and establish a content calendar to ensure post consistency.
LOD Deputy Secretary General (DSG) Atty. David Robert Amorin expressed hope that the forum, which had the theme, “Create and Capture Fantastic Moments: The Art of Content Creation,” will further promote a sense of belonging, and highlight a positive working culture pervaded by friendship, understanding and loyalty among the HRep workforce
