
The fourth National Vaccination Days will focus on the vaccination of senior citizens, those who missed their secord dose and those who are due for second dose, including booster shots
Department of Health (DOH) – Ilocos Region will be targeting a total of 91,711 eligible population for Covid-19 vaccination for the fourth and last “Bayanihan, Bakunahan” National Vaccination Days (NVD) to be held on March 10-12, 2022.
NVD Part IV will focus in protecting the most urgent and most vulnerable population including the unvaccinated senior citizens, children 12-17 years old, those who missed or due for second dose.
“We will be deploying more vaccination teams to identified barangays in Pangasinan and La Union in coordination with our health partners including volunteers from medical societies, civil society organizations, private sectors, faith-based and organizations in order to reach these individuals,” Regional Director Paula Paz M. Sydiongco stated.
There will be mobile vaccination teams which will be deployed to conduct house-to-house vaccination.
The NVD4 target for Ilocos Norte is 12,598, Ilocos Sur with 12,184, La Union – 14,035, Pangasinan – 50,048 and Dagupan City with 2,847.
“Ito na ang pinakahuling mass vaccination na gagawin at nakahanda na ng ating mga health workers upang mabakunahan ang lahat ng eligible population sa ating rehiyon. I encourage everyone to complete their vaccination in order to have optimum protection against the Covid virus.”, she states.
The launching of “Bayanihan, Bakunahan”, NVD4 will be held at Dagupan People’s Astrodome on March 10, 2022.
