THE Imus National High in Bucandala 3 in Imus, Cavite yesterday started their limited face-to-face classes for the secondary level.
Around 20 students per year level attended the half day only class of the total 80 learners per Grade 7 to 10 or Junior High School level.
Art Rosaroso, school principal IV, said eight teachers were assigned per year level in eight subjects based on the guidelines by the Department of Education.
Imus City Mayor and Buklod Filipino Partylist 1st nominee Emmanuel Maliksi visited the school for inspection, together with Dr. Rosemarie Torres, School Division Office superintendent.
Ten students attended the face- to-face learning while ten joined the same class on online platform.
About 11,571 students enrolled for School Year 2021-2022 at the Imus National High School.
The Department of Education said all students and teachers were fully vaccinated before they were allowed to attend face-to-face classes.
Students and teachers were instructed to follow basic safety protocols at all times.
