RIDING-IN-TANDEM gunmen on Monday shot and killed a businessman and seriously wounded his companion in an attack in Los Baños, Laguna
Los Baños police chief OIC Maj. Reymond Valdeabella Asistores identified the fatality as Saidamen Ampawa.
Ampawa died while being rushed to Los Baños Doctors Hospital. His companion, Macabangon Manuco, is in serious condition at the same hospital.
The victims were in front of a convenience store in Bgy. Batong Malake when shot.
Police identified the suspects as Lagusak Anowar Bandara and Janal Ameril.
An investigation showed the victims were supposed to meet the suspects to settle their dispute on the case of violation of Republc Act 9262 or Violence Against Women and their Children when the incident happened.
