Largest banga, gong ensemble, Kalinga’s entry to Guinness book of world record

Kalinga – The province of Kalinga will try to break into the Guiness Book of World Record for entering its largest banga dance and gong ensemble which was conducted at 2 pm , Feb. 15, 2023.
The festival is part of the province’s 28th founding anniversary and 4th Bodong Festival celebration which is celebrated from January 14 to February 2023.
A total of 4,600 male gong players and 6,800 pot dancers performed in the celebration which was dubbed, “Awong Chi Gangsa, Agtu’n Chi Banga or The Call of a Thousand Gongs, The Dance of a Thousand Pots” at the Kalinga Sports Complex.
