A POLICE officer who was reported missing was found dead and floating in a river in Wao, Lanao del Sur.
Patrolman Jeffrey Dabuco, 31, assigned at the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 10, was found lifeless and with wound in the head.
According to Police Regional Office-10 spokesperson Maj. Joann Navarro, Dabuco was last seen in his quarters at the patrol base.
“Importante na ating tingnan at malaman kung ano ba talaga ang nangyari before, during, and after na nadeklarang missing siya,”Navarro said.
Nine policemen assigned at the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 10 based in Bukidnon who were with the victim before he went missing are now under restrictive custody.
Police are looking into personal grudge as possible motive behind Dabuco’s death.
