THE Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) monitored 48,549 outbound passengers and 42,641 inbound passengers in all ports nationwide as of October 27 (6am-12NN).
Moreover, 3,202 deployed frontline personnel in 15 PCG Districts have inspected 617 vessels and 516 motorbancas.
The PCG has placed its districts, stations, and sub-stations on heightened alert from 25 October to 06 November 2023 to manage the influx of port passengers.
