OFFICERS and men of the Police Regional Office 3 under the leadership of Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. donated about 180 bags of blood to the Jose B. Lingad Memorial-General Hospital in line with the observance of the 28th Police Community Relations (PCR) Month and National Blood Donors Month .
The bloodletting activity, spearheaded by the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division headed by Col. Marites Salvadora, was held Friday at the PRO3 Makatao Activity Center, Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
Around 100 PRO3 personnel donated blood.
According to Hidalgo, the activity aims to raise the consciousness of every PNP personnel to do a very noble and heroic act not only in doing their jobs rightfully but also through blood donation in order to save the lives of other people.
