IN celebration of World Oceans Day, SM City Batangas and SM City Lipa spearheaded a successful coastal cleanup in Batangas City earlier today, June 7, 2025.
Hundreds of volunteers, including SM employees, local government units, residents and students, participated in the cleanup drive, collecting significant amounts of waste and other debris plaguing from the coastline.
This collaborative effort focused in barangays Pallocan West and Sta. Clara significantly improving the area’s cleanliness and protecting the local ecosystem.
Coastal cleanup is part of SM’s broader sustainability program which includes various initiatives focused on reducing environmental footprint and promoting responsible environmental stewardship.
