THE Solo Parent Association of Brgy. Masili successfully held its Year-End Assessment and By-Laws Presentation at the Brgy. Masili Covered Court. The event served as a platform to reinforce the association’s governance and highlight the benefits provided under the Expanded Solo Parent Welfare Act (RA 11861).
The first part of the program focused on the presentation and discussion of the Solo Parent Association By-Laws. Mr. Zaldy Tejada, President of the Solo Parent Federation, led the discussion alongside Ms. Wilma Elazegui, Social Welfare Officer II, and Ms. Corazon Aguinaldo, Social Welfare Officer I from the City Social Services Development Office-Calamba. Key topics covered included the solo parent logo, membership guidelines, officer roles, meeting procedures, and other essential provisions. Participants actively engaged in the open forum, where their questions were thoroughly addressed by the speakers.
Following the formal discussions, the event transitioned to a more festive atmosphere with games and an exciting raffle draw that added joy and excitement to the occasion. Sangguniang Barangay Councilors Hon. Tito Trollano, Hon. Christopher Medollar, and Hon. Allen Guevarra also graced the event and delivered short but inspiring messages of support.
The association extended its heartfelt gratitude to the Sangguniang Barangay of Masili, led by Hon. Rohnell Malabanan, for their unwavering support and commitment to the organization’s welfare and initiatives.

The event concluded with a shared sense of accomplishment and camaraderie, marking another fruitful and successful year for the Solo Parent Association of Brgy. Masili. The association remains committed to empowering solo parents and looks forward to continued growth and advocacy in the coming year.
